Registration is via the IPNA 2022 Congress - Online Services Portal, where an account is created (not necessary if an IPNA member or already created by submitting an abstract) and then by filling out an Online Registration Form. Please read the instructions below carefully. Please also consider using a personal email account if your work email is with a medical institute with high security and privacy settings as confirmation emails may be transferred to junk or spam folders.

Each participant will receive a registration confirmation and registration number by email after submitting the Online Registration Form. The preferred method of payment is by an online credit/debit card. For payments completed by bank transfer, please proceed with the payment transfer only after receiving your registration number. Payment by bank transfer must include the registration number and the participant’s name in the payment details.

The choice of in-person or virtual attendance can be changed by attendees at any time up to 6 August 2022. A communication will be sent in July to remind those who want to make a change of the in-person or virtual attendance option. You can also update choice of in-person or virtual attendance by contacting the Secretariat at registration@ipna2022.org. Changes to registration options (such as adding/changing Pre-Congress courses or adding an IPNA Networking Reception ticket) can be made through the IPNA 2022 Congress - Online Services Portal by logging in to an Existing Account.

A Note to Europeans Intending to attend IPNA 2022 Virtually

Due to new European law applicable to virtual events, any relevant taxes should apply based on the destination from where a virtual attendee connects to the virtual event, not the event destination. If you are attending virtually from a European country, this will incur an additional cost to IPNA at your national VAT rate for those registering without a valid VAT number. We therefore ask and strongly suggest that where possible, all Europeans registering for virtual participation register using a VAT number. If you don’t have a VAT number personally, we ask that you consider registering via your place of work or a relevant institution or organisation. This situation does not apply to anyone attending in-person in Calgary, Canada.

* IPNA Members and IPNA Emeritus Members require a valid membership at the time of registration and congress to receive the reduced rate offered to members. Be sure to check your membership validity via the IPNA website
** All Students, Trainees, Allied Health Professional and Nurses are required to upload a document to prove eligibility for the reduced registration fees applicable
*** All LMIC registration fees will only apply to those from a LMIC registered country

All registration deadlines are at midnight Pacific time (PDT) for the date noted. Please make sure to pay your registration fee before the applicable deadline for the selected registration type. If your payment is not received in time, the later deadline fee will apply.

Unpaid or partially paid registrations will not be considered as valid until paid in full.

Registration Fees Include:

  • Attendance to either the Main IPNA Congress or Pre-Congress Courses Only (or both). For those selecting one day registrations, attendance is only included for the day selected.
  • Congress Opening Ceremony
  • Access to the IPNA virtual platform and on demand content
  • For those attending in-person:
    • All catering as per the final official IPNA program
    • All congress materials such as congress bags, badges and supporting printed information
    • Welcome Reception following the Congress Opening Ceremony in the exhibition hall (fee applies for one day registrations)

To be eligible to attend social events all participants are kindly asked to re-confirm or pre-register (during the registration process or reconfirm/add via the Online Services Portal) for the following events.

Congress Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception

Date: Thursday, 8 September 2022
Time: 6 pm onwards
Place: Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, Exhibition Hall
Tickets: Included in the registration fee for Main Congress fees and those attending a Pre-Congress Course. One-day registration fees for the main Congress will attract a $30 USD fee for the Congress Opening Reception.

IPNA Networking Reception

Date: Saturday, 10 September 2022
Time: 7.30pm onwards
Place: STUDIO BELL, home of National Music Centre, 850 4 Street SE, Calgary, AB T2G 1R1
Tickets: $60 / 30 USD (reduce fee only applicable to Students, Trainees, Allied Health Professional, Nurses and LMIC countries.

Social events are subject to pre-registration and space may be limited. Spaces are provided on first come first served basis when limits apply.

Group Registrations

Group registrations can be processed online under one email address identification; you will be able to add each participant under the same invoice at the end of the registration. When registering more than ten participants under one company identity/invoice, please Contact the Secretariat to determine the preferred invoicing setting.

Payment Details

All fees are to be paid in United States Dollars (USD), free of all bank charges. However, please confirm with your bank as to any possible charges from their side.

Registration fees are collected on behalf of IPNA by the Secretariat, CZECH-IN s.r.o., 5. května 65, CZ-14021 Prague 4, Czech Republic.

Accepted Credit / Debit Cards

In the unlikely event of a rejected on-line credit/debit card payment, the delegate is recommended to return to his/her registration online and try to process the payment again. Should the payment issue persist, the participant is advised to contact the card issuer/bank first to check for any potential block on the online transaction. If so, once this is removed it will be possible to pay via the online payment gateway.

To ensure your registration is valid, please make sure that any payment made by transfer is free of all bank fees and transfer charges. Please also ensure that the registered participant’s name and Registration Number are clearly stated in the bank transfer. Payments received without such details (Name, Registration Number) cannot be easily identified and may not be valid.

Payment by bank transfer is available until 17 August 2022. After this date, all payments can only be done by credit/debit card.

Final Invoice

  • The final invoice can be downloaded from the Online portal three weeks after the registration is confirmed and paid in full. The final invoice will be issued based on the details provided during the registration process (step Contact/Invoice details)
  • Any change of such details (name, address, VAT number etc.) is possible only within 3 days from the date of registering and is subject to a 20 USD fee

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Cancellation of Registration

The following cancellation charges apply:

  • Up to and including 6 June 2022 – a 50% cancellation fee will apply
  • Up to and including 6 July 2022 – a 75% cancellation fee will apply
  • From 7 July 2022 onwards no refund can be processed

Cancellation of Other Bookable Items (Payable Social Events)

  • Up to and including 6 August 2022 – a 20 USD administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds
  • From 7 August 2022 – no refund can be processed

General Cancellation Conditions

  • All cancellations must be notified in writing (by email) to the Secretariat
  • Requests for refunds made after 6 August 2022 will not be considered
  • For any change of name, a fee of 20 USD will be charged


The registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.

Cancellation or Modification of the Meeting Due to Force Majeure

In the event of a force majeure situation, CZECH-IN s.r.o. reserves the right to alter or cancel the meeting without prior notice, including any change of the time and/or venue of the meeting. Any occurrence of force majeure event shall be communicated as soon as reasonably possible from the decision time. Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of CZECH-IN s.r.o. which prevents or impedes the realization of the meeting. This includes but is not limited to, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague, or other epidemic such as SARS, Covid-19, bird flu, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disaster, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism. CZECH-IN s.r.o. shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental, or consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, losses, expenditures or any other inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the meeting. Unless provided otherwise by the applicable mandatory laws, the registration fees will be reimbursed in accordance with the IPNA 2022 cancellation policy.

The European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) entered into force as of 25 May 2018 and it involves some additions to data protection. We take your privacy very seriously and to comply with GDPR consent requirements, we need you to confirm that you agree with our new Privacy Policy during the process of creating the account in our system.
