Mounting your poster

The Poster area, in the Exhibition Hall, will be open on Thursday, 8 September from 16:00. Poster mounting will be also available on Friday, 9 September from 6:30. Please make sure to mount your poster by 8:30 if possible.
If you come to the venue later on Friday or Saturday, please mount your poster as soon as possible after your arrival.

Two posters will be placed on each side of each poster board; each half of the poster board will have a unique poster number. Please make sure to mount your poster on the half of the poster board with the number corresponding to the unique number assigned to your poster (received via e-mail).

Removing your poster

Poster presenters should remove their posters by 16:00 on Sunday. Posters not taken down by 16:00 will be removed and disposed of.

Tips for preparing your poster

Your poster will be the means to present your work and get your message across. To achieve this, we strongly recommend following the guidelines below:

  • Make use of colour and graphics. At least 3 pictures or figures are recommended to graphically show your study design and results.
  • Make your message clear. Highlight your AIM and CONCLUSION on the poster using large, bold or coloured fonts.
  • Be brief. Use bullet points and only the most relevant text.
  • Prepare a pitch to explain the main message of your work, making use of the pictures and figures on your poster.

Please make sure to bring your printed poster with you to the venue.

Printing service

If you do not wish to take your printed poster with you to Calgary, you can take advantage of a local printing option for $60 CAD excluding VAT per poster.

The viewing of the posters by attendees will primarily occur during the poster sessions but also at lunch and coffee breaks.

Poster presenters should be present at their poster during the dedicated poster session to interact and discuss their poster with attendees.

The overview of topics divided into 3 poster sessions can be found on the website.
